7 Blank Acetate Emidiscs in Tin from 1957
This group of seven 10 inch acetate Emidiscs date to 1957 and come in their original tin packaging case. They are model number 1857 and were used by professionals and recording studios to create the song masters onto. The box is opened (and probably contained 10 originally though a few have been used), but while Emidiscs are quite common, I have never seen any completely blank and unused ones before.
The condition of the records is effectively brand new though due to age and storage they do have a little mildew around the outer edges and central hole. This comes off very easily just with your fingernail, but because I don’t want to scratch or even mark these new disks I will let the new owner carefully wipe them clean.
